From October 10th through October 12th, VBO client CaribTix deployed the VBO Scan over a full weekend of events, which culminated with the Miami Broward One Carnival 2014.

Two outdoor venues. Three days of festivities. Thousands of ticket holders.

VBO was on hand to assist with the implementation of its offline scan solution into the daily operations. The result: greatly improved patron access to the event and highly efficient attendance tracking.

The outdoor locations presented a technical challenge; WiFi was not widely available, and a reliable scanning technology was needed to ensure an accurate count of paid attendees. Using VBO Scan, the event staff was able to successfully scan all tickets, prevent duplicate entries, and upload data at the end of each day.

Tyrone G. Robertson, CEO of Caribcast, the parent company of CaribTix, had this to say about VBO:

“The solution met every need that we had and was executed flawlessly. I am very happy to be a partner with VBO, and look forward to growing alongside them.”
